There is a Bus Service (timetable) from Exeter to Torrington via Dolton; but we advise that a car is necessary to really appreciate all of North Devon and beyond.

Hatherleigh is worth a visit, an example of a typical North Devon Market Town. The Tuesday morning market with its various stalls and auctions may be of interest.
