Introduction

Vine Cottage is a cob built terrace cottage situated on a small country road within the village of Dolton.

Pre-Arrival

   email address, availability, prices and photographs of
   the cottage.
• Information regarding public transport can also be found on
   our website.
• All guests are provided with maps and written directions to
   the cottage.
• The nearest town is Great Torrington 6 miles away.
• This access statement is available on our website and
   included in our welcome folder at Vine Cottage.

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities

• A car space is usually available outside at the front of
   the cottage.
• If no space is available directly outside there is usually space
   on the road within 10-20m.

Main Entrance & Reception

• The sloping path from the front gate to the front door is cobbled and
   10m in length.
• The front door opens into a porch where there is a second
   front door.
• The outer front door is lit with a security light.

Dining Room

• The Dining Room is located up one step, through the lounge and
   the kitchen.

Laundry

• A washer/dryer is located on the ground floor.

Shop

• Dolton has a village shop which provides a large selection of food
   and drink.
• www.churchstreetstores.co.uk provides full details of the services
   they offer.
• The shop is a 5 minute walk from Vine Cottage.

Outdoor Facilities

• A patio table with two chairs and a wooden bench are provided.
• The patio is located up one step from the entrance path.
• The patio is at the front of the cottage.
• The back yard is sloping and has a table and two chairs.

Bedrooms

• Both bedrooms are accessed by a steep staircase of six stairs.
• The staircase has a wooden door at the bottom.
• A wooden hand rail is attached to the wall.
• All bedding is cotton and pillows and quilts are feather.
• None feather pillows are available.
• A smoke alarm and carbon monoxide alarm is located on the stairs.

Bathroom, Shower-room & WC

• An electric shower is positioned above the bath.
• The bathroom is shared by both bedrooms.
• Bedroom 2 has its own sink.
• A downstairs WC is located outside of the back door.

Self-Catering Kitchen

• The kitchen contains a hob, electric cooker and microwave oven.
• The kitchen also contains a dish washer, washer / dryer, fridge
   and freezer.
• The floor is tiled with ceraminc tiles.

Grounds and Gardens

• The garden is adjacent to the front path.
• The garden contains the patio.

Additional Information

• A welcome folder is provided with instructions for all heating and
   appliances.
• Information and maps of attractions in Devon and Cornwall are also
   provided.
• Unfortunately pets are not provided for.
• Vine Cottage is a no smoking environment.
